Reagan-National

Uniting the world with the capital of the United States

United Airlines officially opened its hub at Washington's Reagan National Airport, replacing the Dulles hub which was opened in June of 2014. The new hub at Reagan-National just across the Potomac from the capital of the United States - versus the 30-mile, 1-hour drive required from Dulles - and for that reason, a favorite among leisure and especially business travelers. United's hub at Reagan National operates primarily as a point-to-point hub, however, due to relaxed restrictions on United's flying at the airport also handles a significant amount of through traffic. Even with that, appropriately 80-85% of traffic through the airport is local making Reagan a very important hub in United's network.
